We are very proud that our CEO and President, Enrique García, has received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2024 in Galicia, which highlights his visionary leadership and tireless dedication to consolidate Profand as a global benchmark in the fishing industry.

This award rewards entrepreneurs “who never stop believing in their dreams, who never give up in the face of adversity and who, driven by their desire to improve the world around them, fight without limits, to continue advancing and breaking barriers”.



After receiving the award, García Chillón highlighted the role of his family, his team and his clients in this achievement, reaffirming his commitment to sustainability and health in the fishing sector. He also stressed the importance of each entrepreneur leaving a legacy that guarantees the future of the next generations, promoting fish consumption and respect for the environment.

The president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, congratulated the entrepreneur for turning a family business into one of the most important fishing companies in Europe, boosting the Galician industry.
